SKY VILLA SITS ON A FOREST RIDGE ABOVE THE PACIFIC, WHERE A SINGLE CONTINUOUS ROOF FLOATS OVER THE CANOPY AND OPENS EVERY SPACE TO THE OCEAN.

CONCEPT

Sky Villa is born from the meeting of earth and sky: the density of the tropical forest and the openness of the ocean horizon. Set on a flat terrace at the edge of a forested ridge in Santa Teresa, the house places itself exactly at the transition between vegetation and sky.

A single continuous roof unifies the program and floats above the canopy, while the volumes beneath it step along the terrace to face the ocean. Biophilia guides every decision: skylights, planted courtyards, green roofs and reflecting pools bring light, water and the forest into the house.

PROGRAM

Entrance and garage, social areas, main and secondary bedrooms with their bathrooms, a separate guest house, and a sequence of pools and decks.

Every space in the house is oriented toward the ocean view.
